Professional Profile
He is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at St Helens and Knowsley NHS Teaching Hospitals Trust since 2008. He is registered with the General Medical Council of Great Britain and British Orthopaedic Association.
He specialises in primary and revision Hip and knee replacement surgery. His particular area of interest is peri-prosthetic joint infection, cases of bone loss and peri-prosthetic fracture.
He undertook his higher surgical training in the Merseyside region and underwent specialist Fellowship training in Sheffield as the “Cavendish Hip Fellow”.
He now leads the hip and knee replacement unit and is the Orthopaedic Clinical Director in St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
